What's going on at your local library?

(Continued)

— CLUE (LIVE!) @ Your Library will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. today.

Join for an evening of intrigue as the game of CLUE comes to life at the Brownsburg Public Library. Groups with a maximum of five members will be led through the mansion by a detective to visit each room and try to narrow the field of suspects, weapons, and locales. In several rooms players will encounter various characters from the game — Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, etc. Players can talk with them, but they probably won’t reveal much (at least truthful anyway). Once a group thinks they have solved the crime, write down the solution and give it to your detective. In the final room the detectives will check the answers and the person who gave him the correct solution first is the winner. Everyone in your group will receive a certificate. Souvenir photos will also be taken. Timed tickets are available at the Brownsburg Public Library, located at 450 South Jefferson Street, in Brownsburg. Tickets are $30 a group (maximum of 5) or $7 a person. It will take approximately one hour to complete the investigation. Don’t miss out on kooky crime-solving fun for the whole family. For more information, contact Amie Thomas by e-mail at athomas@brownsburg.lib.in.us at 852-3167, ext. 108.

— Brown Bag Travel Club-England & Europe in 1973 will take place at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 29 in Meeting Room B.

Bring a lunch and join the library for a presentation of lost slides recently digitized by our very own Larry Whitmore. These images are from a 1973 college trip to Europe, and were taken with an old Kodak pocket camera.
