INDIANAPOLIS — Finalists have been chosen for the Indy Chamber’s Monumental Awards, an event to recognize the best of the Indianapolis region’s businesses, entrepreneurs, economic development, and community projects.
“The Indianapolis region has much to celebrate in the areas of urban development, design, engineering, and architecture,” said Indy Chamber President and CEO Michael Huber. “Last year we recognized projects like the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick and 46 for XLVI: A Murals Program for the City of Indianapolis. As Indy continues to grow, we must continue to recognize companies and individuals that are making their mark in their marketplace.”
Winners will be recognized in nine categories: Architecture/Interior Design/Landscape Architecture,
Economic Development Project of the Year, Construction, Education Workforce Innovation, Engineering, Entrepreneur of the Year, Innovative Reuse, Neighborhood Revitalization, and Public Art.
This year the categories were expanded to encompass the nine-county Indianapolis region including Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby.
