Nucor Steel in Crawfordsville is holding its fifth annual Chappy’s ride for Hope event this Saturday.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Hope’s Way, a central Indiana non-profit recreation center whose mission is to provide a cost-free place for recreation and respite for special needs children, families of deployed military, Wounded Warriors, and veteran administration.
Hope’s Way, in Bainbridge, is operated entirely by volunteers and donations. They are looking to build a barn for Wounded Warriors and veterans to have a peaceful setting for healing.
Chappy’s Ride begins in the maintenance administration parking lot at Nucor, 4537 S. Nucor Road. Kick stands are up at 1 p.m. and participants will enjoy a ride, lunch, dinner and prizes.
There will also be a car show.
