The Hendricks County Kids’ Fair runs from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Avon High School.
The Kids’ Fair is a completely free event for anyone who would like to attend. Prevent Child Abuse Hendricks County organizes the event to provide a fun, stress free, no-cost day for families.
The event features free food and refreshments, giveaways, activities, games for children, music, live entertainment, information, face painting, take home crafts, a magician, bounce houses, and more.
This is the 13th year for the event which operates on sponsorships and donations. To raise funds, Prevent Child Abuse Hendricks County solicits sponsorships and charges for booth space. Sponsorships are available for $250 at bronze level, $500 at silver level, and $1,000 at gold presenting level.
Booth space is $35 for non-profits and $50 for a business.
Between 1,300 and 1,500 people generally attend the event each year. There will be a coat give-away to those in need. Participants are also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items.
There will be a photo booth, a costume contest for children, and several door prizes.
