For more than 50 years, residents here have ushered in the Easter holiday by participating in festivities at Ellis Park, and the celebration returned last Saturday.
Those who attended were treated to an Easter egg hunt, a duck race, had the opportunity to meet with the Easter Bunny, and more.
Danville employees said there were close to 1,000 eggs for children to hunt.
Children who participated in the duck race were able to decorate their own toy duck that was set adrift down the creek in Ellis Park.
The winner of the race was Kayden Hausman, 3, who received a gift basket. Kayden is the son of Angel and Josh Hausman of Indianapolis.
