— The Town of Brownsburg’s curbside collection for branches and yard trimmings starts April 1.
Residents may stack small branches and limbs in their yard behind the curb edge to take advantage of the service. The street department’s wood chipper circulates through town Monday through Thursday. The route will be run every week this season, instead of bi-weekly as it had previously.
No call is necessary to request brush collection; the chipper crew will recycle brush according to the following schedule:
Monday — Holloway Pointe, Holloway Ridge, Holloway Corner, Windridge Landing, Winding Creek, Green Street Village, Whittington Estates, Lake Ridge, Northridge, Fountains of Northridge, Arbors of Northridge, Northridge Estates, and Mardale Estates;
Tuesday — Arbor Springs, Summer Ridge, Murphy Meadows, Austin Meadows, Willow Springs, Sunny Knoll, Hartford Park, and The Hideaway;
Wednesday — Prairie Village, Chadwick Square, Cedar Run, Cedar Run Lakes, Sugar Bush Farms, Hunters Cove, and Thornburg; and
Thursday — Ashwood, Hornaday Heights, Ironwood Estates, Country Walk, Creekside Commons, Fairfield Heights, Meadowchase, Lincoln Pointe, Beacon Pointe, Holiday Pines, Bersot Crossing, and Fox Chase.
Friday is a make-up day in the event that weather or other factors delay the regular schedule. Collection times may vary, so it is recommended that stacks be along the curb by 7 a.m. on the neighborhood’s scheduled recycle day.
This program is for tree material. Residents may take leaves and other matter to the Hendricks County Solid Waste Management District’s yard waste recycling center at 90 Mardale Drive. For more information on that, visit the website at www.hendrickssolidwaste.com or call 858-8231.
