Fry Dec. 30, 2013

Ralph C. Fry of Roachdale died Monday morning at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was 66.

Born Dec. 31, 1946, in Crawfordsville, he was a son of Noble C. and Edith Nichols Fry, who survive. He married Ruth A. Templeman on Sept. 29, 1968, at Parkersburg Christian Church and she also survives.

Mr. Fry graduated from Roachdale High School in 1965 and Purdue University. He was a farmer in the Roachdale area all of his life.

He was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church in Parkersburg. He served the church in many capacities including Sunday school teacher, superintendent, chairman of the board and elder.

Additional survivors include sons Timothy (Cory) Fry of Danville, Daniel (Paula) Fry of Roachdale, and Samuel (Renee) Fry of Roachdale; grandchildren Sarah, Emily, Grace Katie, Loren Jackson and Carson Fry; and a brother, Phillip (Janice) Fry of Roachdale.

A sister, Barbara Brown, died May 15, 2013.

Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Parkersburg Christian Church. Interment will be at Roachdale Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
