Avon seeks public input on parks

CNHI

— The town of Avon is currently in the process of updating its five-year parks and recreation master plan. Part of that process includes getting public input.

In the past, public hearings and workshops have failed to get the feedback officials have desired, so this time Avon has an online survey on Survey Monkey. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and basically tries to determine what the town is doing well, what can be done better, and what parks and recreation amenities or programs residents would like to have but currently aren't available.

The survey is available on the town's website, AvonGov.org or at SurveyMonkey.com/s/AvonParks. It will be available until about the beginning of May.
