Bartlett Chapel offering family program

---- — The congregation of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church in Avon invites families in the community to a mid-week program designed to meet their needs.

Starting Sept. 4, a program titled Wednesday Night Live will be available to children, youth and adults. Attendees may enjoy a meal and participate in worship and classes.

New this year, adults and children ages 4 through those in sixth grade will be studying age-appropriate versions of The Story by Max Lucado . For information on the book, visit the website at www.thestory.com.

A simple meal will be served in the church fellowship hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at a suggest price of $2 per person of $5 per family.

Children’s activities for those ages 4 through sixth grade will include supervised recreation at 6 p.m., worship from 6:30 to 6:45 p.m., and age-appropriate classes from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.

Youth activities, for students in grades seven through 12, will include discussions about life, faith, and God, along with games, projects, and trips, will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Adult activities include worship from 6:30 to 6:45 p.m., and The Story Bible study with the Rev. Don Cline from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.

A nursery service will be provided for infants and toddlers during that time.

All Wednesday Night Live activities are free and open to the public. The Wednesday night schedule will follow the Avon Community School Corporation calendar.
