Holly Scott of Speedway has been placed on the Gettysburg College dean’s honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring semester.
Students with a grade point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester’s work are placed on the College’s dean’s honor list.
Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences.
The dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Findlay has been announced.
Among the local students making the cut was Kirsten Gaerke of Danville, an occupational therapy major.
To earn dean’s list status at Findlay, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Megan Perrey, 2012 Avon High School graduate, was recently named to the Indiana Institute of Technology dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester and spring ‘13 semester.
Perrey was also named all-conference honorable mention for her role on the women’s soccer team at Tech.
Sarah Marie Landis of Plainfield was recently named to the dean’s list at Marian University in Indianapolis for the spring semester.
This honor is given to those who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4-point scale.
