The ARK Animal Care is having a rummage sale June 25-27 at the Amo Community Center, 5.3 miles south of U.S. 36 on County Road 450 W., west of Danville. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Plenty of items will be available for purchase and as things are wrapping up on Saturday, items will be sold by the bag full at discount prices.
Anyone wanting to donate to the sale is asked to do so by June 23 by calling 777-8690.
The ARK Animal Care was created to provide care as a no-kill shelter, to educate and assist with litters within the community, and to provide care for stray animals. The program focuses on getting cats and dogs into foster homes to gain as much information as possible on their personalities and individual needs.
Cats and dogs available for adoption will be at Petsmart in Plainfield from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
