— Reading stars of the library will perform in a talent show 6 p.m. July 15.
Coatesville-Clay Township Public Library
— Storytime is from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. each Wednesday when Mill Creek Schools are in session, for preschoolers ages 3 to 6. Korleen Bledsoe will again serve as children’s programmer. McCloud Nature Park will present a nature program on the first Wednesday of each month.
— Dig Into Reading is the theme of the library’s 2013 summer reading program. Sessions are every Wednesday, June 12 through 26 and July 3 through 17. Children entering grades one through three will meet from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and children entering grades four through six will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. The summer reading program will conclude with a party from 1 to 3 p.m. July 17. Danville Public Library
— Wiggleworms is 9:30 to 10 a.m. each Friday for babies ages 6 to 12 months and their adult caregivers. The program includes songs, rhymes, finger plays, and stories. Registration is required once for the 12-week program.
— Cuddlebugs is 10:30 to 11 a.m. each Friday for babies ages 12 to 24 months and their adult caregivers. The program includes finger plays, songs, and stories. Registration is required once for the 12-week series.
— Toddler Tales is 11:30 a.m. to noon each Friday for children ages 2 to 3 and their adult caregivers. The program includes short stories, action rhymes, songs, and simple crafts. Class size is limited. Register once for the series.
— Preschool Storytime is 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays. Each week includes a 15-minute group story time and a 15-minute craft time. Parents are encouraged to leave their child for the first part of the program and then return to help with the craft.
