Come and discuss and explore what living alone in the wild would be like and receive a copy of Hatchet, the first in book series. Participants will learn how to create survival tools from “trash” like solar ovens made from pizza boxes and paper clip compasses. Registration is required and must be done at the library, where children will receive a copy of the book when they sign up. S’mores will be served, so parents must make any food allergies known prior to the program.
