— American Girl Adventures is 2 p.m. Mondays through July 15. Dig into history and learn about different time periods and places with the American Girl series. Participants can bring their American Girl or other favorite doll for stories, crafts, and chances to win prizes. Each week will focus on a doll in the series. Registration is required and begins a week prior to each date.
— Preschool Story time, I Dig It is 10 a.m. June 25 and July 9 and 16. The program will dig into reading with stories, songs, and crafts exploring dinosaurs, super heroes, gardening, fairies, and frogs. This program is for children ages 3 ½ through those entering kindergarten. Children will come into story time on their own for the first 30 minutes, and will then an adult to come in for the final 15 minutes to assist with the craft. Registration is required and begins a week prior to each program.
— Firefighter Ollie is 2 p.m. June 25 as well as July 9 and 16. Firefighter Ollie will use stories and activities to provide safety education tips children can use. The program is for children preschool through those in fourth grade and an adult must attended with any preschool child. Registration begins a week prior to each date.
— Mommy and Me is 10 a.m. June 26 and July 10 and 17. Children ages 18 months through 3 ½ who are accompanied by an adult can read books and sing songs in a 30-minute story time. Registration is required and begins a week prior to each program.
— Crafty Kids is 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. June 27 and July 11 and 18. Attendees will have the opportunity to dig through library supplies and see what can be unearthed for creative fun. The program will also allow for the design of a room decoration or gift. Registration is required and begins one week prior to each program.
— Drop-In Storytime is 10 a.m. June 28 and July 12 and 19. Meet in the grassy area by the library entrance for stories, songs, and rhymes geared towards kids 3 to 5-years-old, but all ages are welcome. Bring a blanket to sit on. In the event of inclement weather, story time will not be held.
