— Wednesday Night Book Discussion is 6:30 p.m. June 16. The book The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon will be discussed. Copies are available for check out at the circulation desk.
— Jammin’ With Junk is 10 a.m. June 17 for children ages 6 to 10. This program is provided by the Hendricks County Solid Waste Management District. Participants can take a little trash, a little time, and some imagination to create a band. Registration is required.
— Splash Lagoon: Coral Cave is 10 a.m. June 17 for children ages 3 1/2 through those in kindergarten. Registration is required.
— Make Waves: Hydro-Bracelets is 6 p.m. June 17 for youth ages 11 to 19. Registration is required.
— Fantastic Father’s Day is 11 a.m. June 18 for children ages 6 to 10. This will include stories and making a special craft to take home as a gift. Registration is required.
— Library closed on June 20 for Father’s Day.
— Make a Splash! Family Storytime is 5:30 p.m. June 21 for all ages. Families can listen to stories and sing songs about making a splash. An easy craft will follow. No registration is required.
— Freezer Foods with the 30 Day Gourmet will be presented from 6 to 7:15 p.m. June 21. Nanci Slagle will present a system that teaches cooks how to fill their freezers with nutritious and great tasting food. She will discuss the three critical steps: choosing and planning, shopping and prepping food, and assembling and freezing. These tips as well as others are featured in her new release, 30 Day Gourmet’s BIG Book of Freezer Cooking. Registration is requested.
— The Sea Horse Show with Family Time is 6 p.m. June 21. The show includes comedy and magic, and gets both children and adults on stage to help Magic Don teach and explain the world of Sea Horses.
— Advanced Excel 2007 is from 6 to 9 p.m. June 21. Participants can learn how to master Excel software, sort data, filter data, pivot tables, and mail merge their spreadsheets. Cost is $15 and registration is required.
