— Riptide Movies: “Water World” will be shown from 1 to 3:15 p.m. June 23. Youth in grades 6 through 12 can watch the PG 13 rated movie.

— Big Screen Movies: “The Black Stallion” will be shown from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. June 24. Children of all ages can bring a snack and watch the story of a shipwrecked young boy saved by a black stallion. The Academy Award winning movie stars Mickey Rooney and is rated G. Children younger than 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

— Thursday Night at the Movies: Vintage Films is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 24. Those attending can enjoy “The River” (1937) and “Law of the Sea” (1932) screened on vintage projectors, with commentary by film historian Eric Grayson. Both movies are unrated. Drinks and snacks will be provided. This is a free program, but registration is required.

— Teddy Bear Sleepover is from 5 to 5:45 p.m. June 25. Children ages 5 through 8 may bring a favorite teddy bear, stuffed animal, or doll (along with a towel for the teddy to sleep on) to the library for a beach party and sleepover.  Children can enjoy party snacks and games with their teddies. Teddies spend the night at the library, and children pick them up from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday. This is a free program, but registration is required.

— Big Screen Movies: “Dumbo” will be shown from 1:30 to 2:35 p.m. June 28. Children of all ages can bring a snack and watch the story of Dumbo, a circus elephant teased because of his enormous ears and befriended by a mouse. The movie is rated G. Children younger than 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

— Pre-Eclipse Premiere is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 29. Youth in grades 6 through 12 can play games and win prizes while waiting for the midnight premiere of the latest Edward and Bella movie. This is a free program, but registration is required.

— Big Screen Movies: “Lady in the Water” will be shown from 1 to 3 p.m. June 30. Youth in grades 6 through 12 can watch the PG 13 rated movie.
