— Tots, Tales, and Tunes is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. or from 11 to 11:30 a.m. June 16. This is the first in a three-part series for toddlers ages 2 and 3 and their caregivers. Listen to stories and participate in action rhymes and songs. This is a free program, but registration is required.
— Riptide Movies: “Pearl Harbor” will be shown from 1 to 4 p.m. June 16. Youth in grades 6 through 12 can watch the PG 13 rated movie.
— Underwater World is from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. or from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 16. Youth ages 6 through 12 can create their own underwater world picture using a variety of art materials. This is a free program, but registration is required.
— Rubber Stamping for Kids: Father’s Day is from 4:15 to 5 p.m. June 16. Brenda Ramsey will teach children ages 6 through 12 how to use rubber stamps to create a special Father’s Day card. This is a free program, but registration is required.
— Desert Island Books is from 3 to 4 p.m. June 17. Children ages 9 through 12 can enjoy snacks while discussing books they would like to read if stranded on a desert island.
— Thursday Night at the Movies: “The Perfect Storm” will be shown from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. June 17. George Clooney and Diane Lane star in this terrifying tale of a boat caught in the biggest storm in modern history. The movie is rated PG. Drinks and snacks will be provided. This is a free program, but registration is required.
— Suitcase Stories: Splash! Act It Out is from 10 to 10:30 p.m. June 18. Children ages 4 through 8 can hear three stories, choose a part, and help act them out. Children may also just listen to the stories. Caregivers must stay in library during this program.
— Unbound Book Club is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 22. Adults will read and discuss The Glass Castle and enjoy coffee and dessert. This is a free program, but registration is required.
