— PAWS to Read is 6:30 or 7 p.m. June 17. Call to register for a 10-minute session with Murray, the library’s volunteer therapy dog. Children who are unsure of their reading skills can practice with Murray.
— A special Cool Crew Club program is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 17. Learn skills and techniques used by improvisational comedians from an instructor from Comedy Sportz Improv Comedy Club. This is for youth entering grades five through 12.
— A drop-in story time will be held June 18 in the library’s outside reading retreat, weather permitting. This half-hour program is geared toward toddlers and babies, but anyone is welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.
— Investigation Destination is 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Fridays for children entering grades one through four this fall. “Trash to Treasure” will be the program for June 18. Take a little trash and a little time and see what you can create with Katie Archer from Hendricks County Solid Waste Management.
Brownsburg Public Library
— Make a Splash Baby Program is 9:30 a.m. today for children ages 6 to 15 months and their adult caregivers. Registration is required.
— Splash Lagoon: Adventure Bay is 10 a.m. today for children ages 3 1/2 to those in kindergarten. Registration is required.
— Make A Splash Toddlers is 10:30 a.m. today for children ages 15 to 24 months and their adult caregivers. The program will include songs and activities. After a 20-minute group session, there will be time to play with toys and interact. Registration is required.
— Travel Club is 1 p.m. today for children ages 6 to 10. Each month will focus on a different country. There will be stories, eat snacks, play games, and make crafts related to each month’s country. Registration is required.
— Wii Play Wednesdays is 2 p.m. today and June 16, 23, and 30. Teens ages 11 to 19 can play Wii games, board and card games, and enjoy snacks. Registration is appreciated.
