— Book Buddies meets at 2 p.m. Mondays for children entering grades one through four. Each week a different popular series will be featured with games, trivia, and an activity based on the series. On June 21, the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne will be featured and will be repeated again at 6:30 p.m. Children should register for only one time slot.
— Preschoolers are invited to a “Splashing Good Time” at 10 a.m. each Tuesday. Stories, songs, fingerplays, and a craft will be featured each time.
— The Webkinz Lunch Club meets at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays or Wednesdays for children entering grades one through four. Participants should bring their lunch, along with their Webkinz or other staffed animal. The theme for June 22 and 23 is Pirate Pizzazz.
— Mommy and Me “Wonderfully Wet Adventures” is a half-hour toddler program offered at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. This program is for children ages 18 months to 31⁄2 years who are accompanied by an adult.
— Wii Move! will be held on Thursdays with a choice of times — 10 or 11 a.m. or 2 or 3 p.m. Each session will last 30 to 45 minutes with a maximum of eight children. This is for children in grades one through four.
— PAWS to Read is 6:30 or 7 p.m. June 17. Call to register for a 10-minute session with Murray, the library’s volunteer therapy dog. Children who are unsure of their reading skills can practice with Murray.
— A Cool Crew Club program is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 17 for students in graes five through 12. Learn skills and techniques used by improvisational comedians from an instructor from Comedy Sportz Improv Comedy Club.
— A drop-in story time will be held June 18 and 25 in the library’s outside reading retreat, weather permitting. This half-hour program is geared toward toddlers and babies, but anyone is welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.
