— Movie Days For Kids: Ice Age, Continental Drift is 1 p.m. March 26. This movie is rated PG with a run time of 88 minutes. Children are allowed to bring their own snacks, and anyone younger than 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
— Little Carver’s Garden Science Club is 5:30 p.m. March 26. Children ages 6 to 10 are invited to help beautify the library while doing plant-based science experiments. — Great Ideas Book Discussion Group meets at 6:30 p.m. March 26. This is an adult book discussion group. Books may be picked up and returned each month at the customer service desk.
— Easter Babies is 9:30 a.m. March 27. This is a one-time Book Babies special for children up to 15 months and their adult caregivers that will feature Easter-themed rhymes and songs.
— Hoppy Tots & Tykes is 10:30 a.m. March 27 for children ages 15 months to 3 1/2 and their adult caregivers. It will feature an Easter-theme using stories, songs, rhymes, and an Easter craft. After a 20-minute session, children will have time to play and interact.
— Lego Club meets at 5:30 p.m. March 27. The library will provide Legos for this program intended for children ages 1 to 10. Each session has a different theme and a different Wii Lego video game to play, as well as free building time.
— Intermediate Word is 6 p.m. Develop word-processing skills with shortcuts to creating documents and templates, using clipart, smart art, and more. Cost is $15.
— Advanced Excel is 6 p.m. March 27. Build on spreadsheet skills with practice in pivot tables, filters, mail merges, and look-up functions. Cost is $15.
— YES Hands On: PC Practice Sessions are 10 a.m. March 28. This is a free adult PC training practice session in the library training lab. Work on different computer programs and learn with a librarian available for assistance.
