Church relocates to Plainfield

PLAINFIELD — Plainfield Christ Fellowship, originally Tabernacle Fellowship, began in November of 2005 on the south side of Indianapolis in Johnson County.

The church recently relocated to Plainfield and changed its name to “Christ Fellowship,” which comes from the Greek word “koinonia,” which means “partnership with Christ.”

After many years without use, the Morning Star Chapel in downtown Plainfield will be the congregation’s new meeting place.

The congregation invites all in the community to join the first public service in Plainfield at 10 a.m.  Easter Sunday, March 31.

In addition to regular Sunday gatherings, the church will have “The Conversation” at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Plainfield’s Interurban Depot, 401 S. Vine Street, which is around the corner from the Morning Star Chapel.

The Conversation is a teaching format with acoustic worship at the beginning.

Jerry Keller is the founder and senior pastor of the church and the Taylor Keller is the associate pastor.

Plainfield Christ Fellowship will worship at 10 a.m. Sundays, starting March 31, at Morning Star Chapel, 301 S. Center St., Plainfield.
