IMS hosts third annual Easter Egg hunt

(Continued)

INDIANAPOLIS —

Carpenter said the Easter egg hunt was a fun event to be a part of.

“The Speedway has always done a lot for the community,” Carpenter told the Flyer. “ ... I’d come out regardless with my family to a fun event at the Speedway, and it’s something that’s been fun to get behind. It grew a ton (since the first year), so next year it’s probably going to have to be through turns three and four.”

He added he enjoyed being able to spend time with his family at the track.

“Any day at the Speedway is a good day, especially if you’re doing stuff with your family,” Carpenter said. “I’m glad we got good weather for it.”

Families who attended also had the opportunity to meet and get their photos taken with the 500 Festival princesses, IMS mascots, and the Easter Bunny, as well as play in several bounce houses.

The IMS Kids Club is open to children younger than 12 years of age and the membership is $25.
