To the Editor:
I am a grandmother who went to the Brownsburg graduation ceremony on June 7 and due to very poor planning on Brownsburg School’s part, I could not sit and watch my twin grandsons graduate in person. I was directed to an overflow room where I had to watch it on a TV screen and could not even take pictures.
This is a once in a lifetime accomplishment for them, they have had many road blocks in their short lifetimes, and I could not even take pictures for their scrapbooks. Who plans something this poorly? BSC knew, way ahead of time, how many students would be graduating. Why didn’t they either split it into two nights or have it at a location where everyone could sit and watch … but not from an overflow room.
I would like to tell Brownsburg High School that I was not the only upset person at the school that night. We pay high taxes in Hendricks County and I feel we deserve better than this. Thank you.
