Troop 305 in Clayton planning celebrations

CLAYTON — In honor of the 100th anniversary of boy scouting in America, all past and present members of Troop 305 of Clayton are invited to walk in the Clayton Fall Festival Parade with the current troop on Sept. 18.

Those planning to participate should meet at 1 p.m. at the storage units on Amo/Clayton Road. They are asked to wear their old uniforms, if possible.

Also, all past and present Troop 305 members are invited to a celebration at 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at Lambert Park on Michigan Street in Clayton. Again, they may come in uniform or bring their uniforms with them. Those attending are also asked to bring photos, memorabilia, and stories of their scouting adventures.
