Sawyer Anniversary

Frederick D. and Barbara (Lewis) Sawyers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 22. They were married in 1958 at Moorseville United Methodist Church.

Mr. Sawyers is retired from Citizens Gas & Coke Utility. He is a member of the Elks Club of Punta Gorda, Fla., and the Plainfield chapter of the Masonic lodge.

Mrs. Sawyers is retired from Indiana Workforce Development. She is a member of Delta Alpha Gamma and First Baptist Church of Plainfield.

They are the parents and in-laws of Greg and Cindy Sawyers of Carmel, Eric and Susie (Sawyers) Elliott of Carmel, and Fred Sawyers of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Their grandchildren are Shelby, Riley and Logan Sawyers, and Alex and Nick Elliott.
