Nighberts celebrate 70th anniversary

— Sara Alice (Noell) Nighbert and Sidney Lee Nighbert of Mooresville are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple were married July 2, 1939, in Mitchell.
Mr. Nighbert served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, leaving from Jefferson County. The couple lived in Decatur Township for 40 years before the expansion of the Indianapolis International Airport. They moved to Plainfield, where they have lived for the past 20 years.
They have four living children, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with family and friends June 27.
