Potters celebrate 60 years

— Dorothy and Billy Potter of Brownsburg will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 1. They were married in Indianapolis in 1949.
They are the parents and in-laws of Luann and Larry Irvin of Illinois, Jeanete and Steven Wilson of Brownsburg, Terry and Susan Potter of Oklahoma, and Amy and Ken Mohney of Pittsboro.
The Potters will be honored at an open house, hosted by their family, from 2 to 4 p.m. June 27 at Pittsboro United Methodist Church, 227 E. Main St.
