Colgan-Hunter
Christy Colgan and Patrick Hunter were married June 6 in Melbourne Beach, Fla., with the Revs. Mike Jarrett and Jessie Skiffington presiding.
The bride is the daughter of Mike Colgan of Louisville, Ky., and Denise Colgan of Avon. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., and works in the critical care unit at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom is the son of Mike and Debbie Hunter of Brentwood, Tenn. He is in dental school in Memphis, Tenn. Upon completion of his schooling, he plans to serve four years in the U.S. Navy.
The bride’s sisters, Cyndi Colgan-Higgins of Smyrna, Ga., and Catie Colgan of Brentwood, Tenn., served as honor attendants.
Mike Hunter, father of the groom, served as best man. Thomas Hunter, brother of the groom, served as groomsman.
Kyle Colgan, brother of the bride, served as an usher.
Flower girls were Mattie and AnnaBelle Ashburn of Brentwood, Tenn.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held on the deck at the Radisson Hotel in Melbourne Beach.
Upon returning from a honeymoon in St. Thomas, the couple is residing in Memphis.
