Wood anniversary

— Marvin and Madge Wood are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren from 1 to 4 p.m. May 31 at Wood’s Auto Service, 5351 E. Main St., Avon.
They were married May 31, 1958, at Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church.
The couple owned and operated Wood’s Auto Service in Avon from 1972 until 2007.
They are the parents of Kevin Wood and Jean Moles. They have six grandchildren.
