Farmer anniversary

— Tine and Sherry Farmer of Danville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married April 5, 1958.
Mr. Farmer served in the U.S. Army and has been employed in various fields throughout the years. He worked as a television and radio technician and owned and operated his own business on South Cross Street in Danville. It was there he built the town’s first automatic car wash.
Mrs. Farmer worked at the Danville Gazette and then stayed home with her children for several years. While at home, she helped other families with childcare and contributed to the family business. She is currently a Realtor and works for ReMax of Avon.
They are members of Northview Christian Church in Danville.
They have four children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
