Yoho anniversary

Judy (White) and Jon L. Yoho of Plainfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. April 27 at Serendipity in the Metropolis mall in Plainfield.

They were married April 26, 1958, at the Speedway Christian Church by the Rev. Ray Montgomery.

Mr. Yoho graduated from Indiana University and later received his master’s degree from Ball State. He taught and was a coach at both Richmond and Plainfield high schools. After leaving the teaching profession, he operated his own insurance brokerage in Plainfield.

Mrs. Yoho worked at the former Indiana Boys’ School as a secretary to the superintendent.

They have been active in civic and political affairs for many years and are now retired. They are members of Plainfield Christian Church.

They are the parents of Kelly Aldridge of Plainfield, Vicki Grant of Avon, Rob Yoho of Plainfield, and Todd Yoho of Plainfield. They are the grandparents of Lexy and Jon Aldridge; Danielle and Matt Grant; Kayley, Ross, and Lakin Yoho; and Evan and Erica Yoho.
