Erin Schwein Fitness in Avon is sponsoring a 12-hour jump-a-thon from noon to midnight July 18.
One-hour jump times are $10. Participants are able to jump for the entire hour, less than the hour, or even sponsor another’s jump time.
Proceeds will benefit Sheltering Wings in Danville and Local Families Adopting.
A vendor fair will bring in members of the community featuring live music, food, dancing, and a prize raffle from 5 to 9 p.m.
“My goal is to introduce fitness to women,” Schwein says. “Exercise can be fun. When women are healthy, it’s a positive influence for everyone around them.”
The facility offers a selection of classes including TRX, kettlebell, rebounding, and cardio.
Emily Gregory, mission coordinator for Erin Schwein Fitness, said, “Just keep coming back.”
Instructors work with each individual where they are and build upon their personal level.
Hours vary for classes to include those that need a 5:15 a.m. class and others needing an 8 p.m. class.
New classes on the schedule include Zumba and Cycling.
A massage therapy room is located within the fitness center as well, and it’s operated by Tamara Lasley, a certified massage therapist.
