AVON —

Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced a new two-year partnership with KeyBank, nationally recognized in the banking industry and a leader in the Indianapolis community. The new partnership is for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.

“We are thrilled to have KeyBank join us as a sponsor,” PS&E President Jim Morris said in a press release. “We’re working with Key on some unique promotions that will be fun for fans at the Fieldhouse and in the community.”

Key’s sponsorship includes signage and promotions during Pacers’ games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, as well as player appearances and retail promotions. Additionally, Key is the presenting sponsor of the Indiana Pacers Reading Timeouts, a program that promotes childhood literacy at local elementary schools.

“KeyBank is growing in Central Indiana, and this sponsorship is a reflection of that growth,” said Gary Hentschel, president of Key’s Central Indiana District. “We’re excited about the opportunity to work with the Pacers on promotions that will be fun for fans, and we’re pleased to help our local elementary students become better readers.”

Key traces its history back more than 160 years and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. One of the nation’s largest bank-based financial services companies, Key has assets of about $89 billion. Key provides deposit, lending, cash management, and investment services to individuals and small businesses in 14 states under the name of KeyBank National Association.

Key also provides a range of corporate and investment banking products, such as merger and acquisition advice, public and private debt and equity, syndications and derivatives to middle market companies in selected industries throughout the United States under the KeyBanc Capital Markets trade name.

In Hendricks County, KeyBank has branches in Avon and Brownsburg.
