Wayne Township schools lift lockdown



Earlier today, four Wayne Township schools were placed on lockdown as police searched for a burglary suspect on the southwest side of Indianapolis, FOX 59 reported.

The schools placed on lockdown were Ben Davis High School, Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center, Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center, and Chapelwood Elementary School.

The incident took place at about 8:50 a.m. and the lockdown was lifted about an hour later.
