Plainfield man injured in semi-truck rollover

PLAINFIELD — A Plainfield man was injured Tuesday morning when the semi-tractor trailer he was driving went off the right side of the roadway on northbound I-65 and overturned near the State Road 267 entrance ramp in Boone County.

Indiana State Police were dispatched to the one-vehicle accident shortly before 11:30 a.m.

Police say preliminary investigation shows that Cory Shaw, 31, went off the roadway for an unknown reason.

Shaw was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by emergency personnel. He was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. As of press time, Shaw was listed in good condition.

The cargo, industrial liquid soap, was spilled during the crash and was cleaned up by Haz-Mat workers.
