Icenogle anniversary

James and Ina (Goins) Icenogle of Brownsburg celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 12.

They were married Nov. 12, 1953, at her parents’ home in Gosport.

Mr. Icenogle worked as a carpenter at General Motors Corp., Allison Transmission Div., until retiring in 1993. He also owned his own construction company, framing homes for many years. Mrs. Icenogle worked several years for Herff Jones Company and also owned Country Friends, creating and selling wooden crafts.

They are the parents of Gerrie Reed, James Icenogle, Rick Icenogle, Gary (Andrea) Icenogle, and Rob (Linda) Icenogle. They are the grandparents of Jennfier Icenogle, Rachel Reed, Sara Downing, Nicole Icenogle, Casey Icenogle, Adam Icenogle, Mercedes Icenogle, Kaylynn Icenogle, Savannah Icenogle, Jackie Incenogle, Katy Icenogle, Dimitry Icenogle and the late Tyler Icenogle. They are the great-grandparents of Mason Fischer, Joshua Fischer, Merrick Fischer, Jameson Fischer, Conall Marcum, Garrett Marcum, Lilliana Lott and Ava Kish.

The Icenogles are members of Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg and enjoy spending time with their friends and country line dancing.

They celebrated their anniversary with an open house at the home of their daughter, Gerrie.
