Brownsburg Chamber eliminates director position

BROWNSBURG — The Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors this week voted to eliminate the position of executive director, which had been held by Brian Rose.

In a letter sent to entities on the Chamber of Commerce e-mail list, Rose said he will begin to work full time at the company he and his wife started, Rose Promotions.

“The last three years have been filled with many highlights and challenges, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the time that I have spent working with each of you in growing your respective businesses,” Rose wrote. “While I will greatly miss working with you as your chamber director, I hope that we can continue to work together in the future to grow your business.”

Rose added after speaking with the executive committee of the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce board, it plans to work on restructuring the chamber to continually improve serving the needs of the membership.

He said Lisa Black, on an interim basis, will address any needs chamber members may have.
