Police search for missing man

SPEEDWAY — The Speedway Police Department is investigating the disappearance of resident Douglas Denzel, 59.

Denzel is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 210 pounds, with short gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen on July 27 at his home in Speedway and is believed to be in danger.

Police say Denzel may exhibit threatening behavior and should only be approached by law enforcement or qualified medical personnel.

He is believed to be driving a 2001 silver four-door Dodge Neon with Indiana license plate number 978FDS.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Speedway Police Department at 246-4343.
