The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department missing persons detectives are requesting assistance from the public in locating 51-year-old Donald Frederick Doughty.
Doughty, who uses Fred as his first name, is described as a white male 6’7” tall and 275 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. Doughty is a heating and cooling technician by trade and may be in his red 2000 Ford pickup truck with a dark green tailgate. The vehicle has Indiana 2009 issue truck plate of 581837.
What made this case stand out to detectives is the fact that Doughty has close ties with other family members and has no history of leaving home without notice. He was last seen Monday in the 5000 block of Melrose Avenue on the Westside of Indianapolis, which is also the area where several family members reside. Doughty is in good health and detectives have no reason for him to be missing.
